Not The Favorite

I just read a news article about a 9-year old boy from Quispamsis who saved his mothers life by performing the Heimlich maneouver on her when she choked on a piece of pear. She got his attention by banging her hands on the cupboards as he was in the next room.

I really hope when Lauren gets older that she'd do the same for me if something like that were to happened. Although I'm sure it'll probably go something like this, "God mom, would you stop banging the friggin cupboards! I'm trying to watch TV!!"

I hate weekends. Why? Because my husband doesn’t want to spend anytime with me or Lauren. He’s fucking selfish and I hate it. We make plans on Friday night on what to do Saturday and then he goes and fucks it all up the next day because he doesn’t feel like going out. It’s hard enough to get him to go the god damn grocery store because the man hates crowds, a.k.a people. This past weekend he thought it necessary to sleep until 2 in the fucking afternoon. Just because it’s your day to sleep in, doesn’t mean you get to hibernate for the whole god damned day and then wonder why I’m so pissed when you finally emerge from your winters den. By the time you roll out of bed, the day is practically over for Lauren because she has to go to bed in 5 hours.

Every weekend is the same when you’re not working. All you want to do is stay home and relax and by that I mean play WoW. Not even spend time with us. You spend it with your online friends. Well, I have had enough. If you don’t want to be with us, we don’t want to be with you. I have much better days with Lauren without you because I don’t have to wait around for you. Wait for you to relax for hours after you wake up and then wait for you to shower and have lunch and then you wonder why I’m so freakin testy.

I’d like to know at exactly what point you turned into a hermit so I could somehow go back in time and slap some sense into you.
