The loud girl got 8 months in jail, lost her license for 2 years and 18 months probation for what she did July 2008.
Sounds pretty good to me. Especially since there is rarely an appropriate punishment for people caught drunk driving in this province.

I heard this on the radio this morning and I wondered if the was the same girl.
I forgot about that, wow crazy. Punishments do not fit the crime at all.
Drinking & Driving is an absolute, unequivacal no, no!!!!!!

2nd offense 15 years and a fine
3rd offense, execution...

I take a pretty firm stance when it comes to drinking and driving having lost a friend to a drunk driver. No excuses
Agreed. In my opnion, you cannot call collisions resulting from drinking and driving "accidents". There is no accident about it - it's one thing that is completely avoidable. Simply don't get behind the wheel.
